About the Authors
From conception to publication, Armel and Laurence BRUCELLE have made the knowledge of Provençal heritage their daily life and their passion.
HIM: A photojournalist at the SYGMA Agency for 20 years and at FIGARO MAGAZINE, he covered national and international news for many years. In their current projects, he once again harmonizes his talent
with his art: photography.
HER: An avid traveler, she lived for many years in New Caledonia, Senegal, and Tahiti.
After leaving the medical field and the world of black-and-white X-rays, she joined him in self-publishing and took charge of the texts for their books.
Enchanted by this timeless Provence, where they have made their home for over twenty-five years, they continue to create new works together with an ever-renewed sense of joy. The beauty and variety of the landscapes they discovered in their earlier assignments will weave the thread of a new series, celebrating villages full of charm and character, like Cotignac, Valensole, Cabasse.... He with the lens, she with the pen, together sharing the same vision, passion, and the emotion of two devoted storytellers.
Each book takes around 3 years from the moment of conception to publication.
Armel & Laurence oversee the entire creative process from start to finish.
